The National Association of Veterinarians in Armenia became a full FVE member at the FVE General Assembly on 14 June.

Siegfried Moder, FVE President, said, ‘We are very happy to welcome Armenia as a full member of the FVE family. They have been observer members for five years and, from the start, were very active. We are delighted that they have now become a full member!’ The President of the association, Arman Ohanyan, said, ‘I cannot express my feelings and the extent of my joy in words, how proud I was to return to my native Armenia as a full member of FVE. Thanks again and again to everyone for welcoming our association.’ In 2023, 490 registered veterinarians and para-veterinarians are working in Armenia. About 40% have a higher education specializing in veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, or veterinary sanitary expertise, with around 60% being para-veterinarians. Most veterinarians (around 60%) provide services only within the framework of the state program, while around 40% also provide private services.

Welcome to all Armenian veterinarians in the FVE family!
