Help shape the next European Veterinary Medicines Gaps and Needs Compass for ducks and geese!
Following the recent publication of the Compass for small ruminants, FVE/UEVP is now focusing on waterfowl – and specifically on ducks and geese! We are inviting veterinarians working with ducks and geese to share practical insights on:
- the most important waterfowl diseases,
- essential medicines in daily practice,
- veterinary medicines that lack availability or that do not exist (gaps and unmet needs).
Your input will directly support European action geared to improve medicine availability for waterfowl!

A dedicated ducks and geese expert task force will be established to help prioritise VMP gaps and unmet needs across Europe. This work aims to support authorities and marketing authorisation holders and builds on existing frameworks.
