The Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) is committed to recognizing outstanding contributions to the veterinary profession and the Federation itself. FVE has 3 types of Awards: the FVE Distinguished Service Award and the FVE Award. Before 2012, FVE also had the Honorary Membership Award. All these awards honour individuals who have made significant contributions to the veterinary field or the work of the Federation.

FVE Distinguished Service Award

This award is given for outstanding contributions to the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe. It is intended to recognize individuals who have provided exceptional service to the Federation, including past presidents and long-standing FVE delegates.

FVE Award

This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the veterinary profession in Europe. The award may be given to FVE members, veterinarians, OIE, Commission officials, CVOs, or other individuals who have made a particularly eminent contribution to areas such as animal welfare, public health, or One Health initiatives.

All of these awards are lifetime honours, and the names of the recipients are proudly displayed on this page.
