MSD & FVE 2025 scholarship program

MSD Animal Health and FVE are proud to demonstrate their commitment to veterinary students by providing 34 scholarships of 5,000 USD to be awarded to veterinary students.

The scholarship aims to enhance the academic experience and progress by considering merit, financial need, and geographical diversity.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Not be recipients of any previous MSD/FVE scholarship;
2. Veterinary students enrolled in the 3rd to 4th and 5th year on October 2025;
3. Currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized veterinary establishment in their country
   (a veterinary establishment member of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education – EAEVE – as of October 2024) with the status of approved-accredited-conditionally/pending accreditation;
4. Citizen of a European country from the list provided in the attachments.

Review, evaluation, and selection

The review and selection process will be coordinated by the FVE and will involve members of the FVE/IVSA Review Committee.

Important Note: No representative from a veterinary school ever evaluates a student from his/her school. Also, no member who is either employed or contracted to work for MSD Animal Health will participate in the selection of any award winners.

How to apply?

1. Fill out the form; 
2. Collect support letters from the Dean and a Professor from your University;
3. Collect evidence of financial need;
4. Fill out the Google form, upload the required documents, and submit before 31st October 2025.

• Announcement – 8th August 2025
• Application opening – 1st September 2025 
• Application deadline – 31st October 2025 (23:59 CET)
• Selection process – 1st November 2025 – 1st January 2026
• Student and School notification – 15th January 2026 (only selected students will be notified)
• Public Announcement – 31st January 2026
• Check Disbursement – February 2026
