Job Description
Intern on Veterinary European Affairs (September 2025 – February 2026)
Brussels, Belgium from 1. September 2025 to 28. February 2026 (6 months)

- Support the team in monitoring and analysis of ongoing and emerging EU projects and legislation that impact veterinary matters or the veterinary profession
- Assist in preparation FVE meetings, webinars and conferences
- Support the team by preparing background briefs and other materials (presentations, evaluations, minutes etc.) for meetings and events
- Assist the team in gathering and maintaining up-to-date information, drafting position papers, conducting background research
- Support FVE’s communication efforts (e.g. website, social media, newsletters) to promote the work our Federation and the veterinary profession does.
- Veterinary student at an ESEVT accredited veterinary school
- Eligible and willing to work in Brussels, Belgium
- Have excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Interest for animal welfare, public health and One Health developments;
- Willingness to learn fast and juggle between numerous tasks;
- Teamplayer, proactively offering help and new ideas to team members;
- Strong computer skills (MS office software, WordPress, Canva, Social Media, Desktop publishing software, etc).
- Full-time (39 hours) per week internship contract

- Monthly internship allowance (950€)
