Job Description
FECAVA Projects manager
Brussels

FECAVA is searching for a 'projects manager' to support different projects within FECAVA such as internal and external communication, marketing, the FECAVA working groups, etc. You will work closely together with the FECAVA office manager, the Council and the FECAVA members.

Tasks foreseen:
• liaison between the directors and board and headquarters in Brussels
• liaise with the marketing department of the organisation & help direct the marketing plan and find sponsorship opportunities
• keeping the members involved in the organisation
• keep the members updated on the work of the working groups
• internal and external communication, news emails, updating website & social media
• scope the European veterinary political world
• join the Council meetings twice a year.
Profile:
• Eligible and willing to work in Brussels, Belgium at least two days a week;
• Preferably a veterinary or vet nurse degree or extensive understanding of the companion animal veterinary sector;
• Have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Mastery of another EU language is a strong plus
• Interest in veterinary issues such as animal welfare, public health and One Health developments and mental well-being and DEI;
• Ability to turn complex, technical information into concise, simple messages;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Positive and problem-solving attitude;
• Team player, proactively offering help and new ideas to team members;
• Good organisational skills;
• Strong computer and media skills (MS Office software, WordPress, Desktop publishing software, etc).
• Full-time or Part-time (80%) per week employment contract under Belgian law.
