New EU rules for veterinary medicines and medicated feed have been published in the EU Official Journal.
The new legislation will strengthen veterinary oversight in the use of veterinary medicines and will further promote responsible use of antibiotics. The rules will enter into force on 28 January 2022, after the adoption of the implementing rules.
