The EU Commission document answers key questions about risk of infection through food and feed. The document is the result of all the feedback received from stakeholders and Member States.
To date and despite the large scale of the pandemic, there has been no report of transmission of COVID-19 via consumption of food or feed. Therefore, as stated by the European Food Safety Authority, there is no evidence that food poses a risk to public health in relation to COVID-19. Click here
