FVE welcomes the proposal of the European Commission for a Regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 851/2004 establishing a European Centre for disease prevention and control, which looks into extending the mandate of the Agency.
Nevertheless, FVE misses in the proposal and the additional proposed amendments by the Members of the European Parliament a call for implementation of a truly integrated One-Health approach that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration for a coordinated response at
EU level.
