MSD Animal Health and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe are glad to announce that 68 veterinary students in the 3rd-4th-5th year of study have been rewarded for the 2021 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program.
The scholarship aims to support these students to focus and enhance their academic experience and eventually start their careers. The review committee selected 68 students out of the 155 eligible applications. The students are currently enrolled in veterinary faculties across Europe, namely in: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and UK.
“The successful partnership with MSD Animal Health allows us to support and empower veterinary students to become responsible veterinary professionals of the future” notes FVE President Rens van Dobbenburgh. “Since the pandemic is still ongoing, we are proud for the support we can give to them as they will certainly pave the way for a new era of the veterinary medicine.”
