Lately, there has been an increase in the number of wild animals and other exotic species kept as companion animals. This trend, encompasses some risks and challenges regarding welfare and health for both people and animals.
FVE calls for competent authorities to work on the establishment of animals, based on thorough assessment of the risks for the animals, its owner and society.
