The veterinary profession celebrates World Animal Vaccination Day 2019. Vaccines against more than 100 animal diseases and around 30 human diseases exist. They have saved millions of lives of people and animals. They contribute to the need to use less antibiotics and they reduce exposure to zoonotic diseases.
